Blue Reef Island Policies
When planning a romantic getaway, friends’ travel adventure, or family vacation at Blue Reef Island, please review the following policies for lodging at our Caribbean resort.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation and is charged to the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card you provide.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in and will be charged to the card on file unless other payment arrangements have been made. Reservations made within 30 days of check in will be charged the full amount at the time of reservation.
Any cancellation of reservations or portions of reservations MUST be received in writing.
30+ days prior to arrival = 100% refund
0-29 days prior to arrival = NO refund.
NO Show = NO Refund
For PEAK SEASON (December 16th 2026 – January 5th 2027) dates cancellations made after October 1st are non-refundable.
No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, package portions, tours or transfers for any reason.
Blue Reef Caribbean Resort Ltd. will not be liable for failure to perform agreed obligations, if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), viruses such as COVID-19, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.
Should diving, fishing or island transfers not take place due to force majeure, natural disaster or unforeseeable circumstances including rough sea conditions, monies will not be refunded. It is advisable to take out travel insurance prior to your trip.
Wherever possible Blue Reef Island will try to reschedule cancelled trips to a future date within a 12-month period, subject to availability.
Blue Reef Island can reschedule full resort bookings; however there will be a cancellation fee.
